‘Cobra Kai’ Season 4 Officially Begins Production at Netflix

Season 3 premiered on January 1 this year and quickly became one of the most-watched show on Netflix

Season 4 of Cobra Kai has officially started filming, the news comes from the EP and showrunner John Hurwitz, who shared the name of the first episode confirming the start of the production.

The first episode is named "Let's Begin." Hurwitz said "Back in the dojo and it feels so good! #CobraKai #Season4 #Netflix."

Dupree Young and Oona O ' Brien will be a couple of small characters joining the cast in season 4. Season 3 premiered on January 1 this year and quickly became one of the most-watched shows on Netflix.


The series was renewed for season 4 by Netflix in October 2020. The show from The Karate Kid film franchise from Sony Pictures Television started its run at YouTube Premium before moving to Netflix for its third season. The first two seasons of “Cobra Kai” are currently streaming on Netflix and have proven to be very popular.


Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett executive produce for Overbrook Entertainment along with Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka serve as co-executive producers.


“Cobra Kai” also stars Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, and Peyton List. Yuji Okumoto and Tamlyn Tomita will also appear.
