The premiere of the much-anticipated second season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ is fast approaching, and we have the complete release schedule for Marvel's show: eight episodes, one fewer than the debut season, which was a big hit.
In season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he pursues public enemy number one, the Hell's Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But, beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will strive to fight back from the shadows to bring down the Kingpin's evil enterprise and save his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, the series stars Charlie Cox as the titular masked vigilante AKA Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. Returning cast of the series includes Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. This season will also see the long-awaited return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and introduce Matthew Lillard as the mysterious Mr. Charles.

Marvel has already revealed multiple clips in the run-up to the premiere this Tuesday. The first trailer, revealed a few weeks back, shows New York City as a city under siege by Mayor Wilson Fisk’s iron grip, complete with propaganda posters, Anti-Vigilante Task Force patrols roaming the streets, and “Missing” flyers plastered everywhere for Matt Murdock. Matt himself appears in a sleek new all-black Daredevil suit, operating from the shadows alongside Karen Page, while Jessica Jones storms back into action with brutal street-level fights at his side. Quick cuts tease Fisk’s regime crackdown, possible Bullseye returns, Foggy Nelson in flashbacks or new scenes, and the first sparks of a resistance alliance forming. Overall, the short, vibe-heavy teaser keeps major plot details under wraps but builds an intense promise of even darker moral choices, unlikely team-ups starting with Jessica Jones, and a full-throttle street-level war against Kingpin’s corrupt empire, confirming that the Defenders-era characters are colliding once more.
