Netflix has revealed the first trailer and confirmed the premiere date for the Spanish horror, thriller, and fantasy series ‘Feria: The Darkest Light.’ Originally titled Feria: La luz más oscura, the Spanish-language series will release on January 28, 2022, on Netflix, worldwide.

What if two teenage sisters learn their parents are monsters? Eva (Ana Tomeno) and Sofia (Carla Campra) must confront the horrific crime that their parents appear to have perpetrated before disappearing, leaving behind 23 victims. How will these sisters live in a community that despises them? Is it possible that they knew their parents so poorly, or is there another reason why they were part of this event? This will be Eva and Sofia's path in Feria, a town where reality hides a fascinating universe.

The horror-thriller is set in the mid-1990s in a small white town in the Andalusian mountains, where the residents are not as innocent as they appear. The main cast is lead by the winner of a Forqué Award for Best Actress Marta Nieto (Madre, Secretos de Estado), and the young actresses Ana Tomeno (La isla mínima) and Carla Campra acting as Eva and Sofía sisters. Ángela Cremonte, Patricia López, Isak Férriz, and Ernest Villegas complete the cast.

Feria is produced by Filmax with Jorge Dorado and Carles Torrens as directors. The 8-episode series began production in November 2020 and wrapped in March 2021.
