It has been almost a year since the production of the live-action ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ wrapped up, and still, there is no news regarding its premiere. Apart from revealing casting news occasionally, Netflix hasn't teased the show in recent times.
‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ finished filming in June 2022 and it has been in post-production ever since. Fans were expecting a Summer 2023 premiere, but on that front, there has been any positive indication. Although there is still a possibility that it could be possible as we still have plenty of time before the Summer begins. However, the latest rumor that we have heard from our Netflix source is not going to please a lot of fans.
‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ seems to have been reportedly postponed to early 2024. It could be mainly because Netflix already has some big titles lined up for this Summer, which includes the live-action One Piece series, The Witcher Season 3, The Three-Body Problem, and a few others. However, the late 2023 premiere still cannot be ruled out despite this latest rumor. So, our best guess will be that the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender Series can be expected to release sometime in late 2023 or early 2024 on Netflix.
