‘Love Like a Bike’ (2026) Netflix Series Review - A Nice Attempt but Doesn’t Deliver

Three brothers experiencing life in the most different ways live together.

TV Shows Reviews

Love Like a Bike is a plot that follows the lives of three men from different nations and with distinct personalities. These four men were adopted as kids together and thus raised in the same home. Though they might never be related by blood, their bond is no less than any blood relationship. The eldest brother amongst them is a Thai-Chinese boy named Nabnueng who works as a psychiatrist. He is just the perfect guy as one might describe. He is calm, thoughtful, and naturally the pillar of the house. He has always taken good care of his brothers and always looked out for them. However, his focus from the family shifts when he gets close to a man named Sailom, who is struggling with androphobia, a condition that prevents him from tolerating physical contact with men. As Nabnueng helps Sailom navigate his struggles, their bond starts to shift from that of a professional relationship to something deeper and meaningful. Their middle brother, named Tawan, lives a less ordinary life. He was once an airline captain, and since then, he quit his job and joined a café. He is happy with the way his life has taken shape and is also happily single. However, all this changes when a one night with a stranger sets things on fire. Lastly, we have their youngest brother named Sky, who is Thai-Swiss and is sharp-witted by nature. He was once an ardent believer in love until his heart was broken.  All in all, these three brothers have gone ahead in life to achieve love, heal, and rediscover themselves in the world and in life in general.

This was a very average plot that I saw. There is nothing new as such that the makers offered. They tried taking all the best formulas ever heard, break, love, bonding over emotional trauma, just to make the whole thing work. But even with the most predictable events ever, none of them worked as such, and we really got nothing new. I was hoping for something mature and deeper, but what was promised wasn’t really delivered, and that is the saddest part.

The pacing is incredibly slow, as one might have expected. That gets down to becoming a huge issue as well, because what would you do with a plot that moves at a snail’s speed? All of this ends up contributing to the plot that is ill-executed.

The character development is hardly there. With the plot that was supposed to be deep and feel deep, none of that actually happens. It is indeed sad that something which had to be something so good doesn’t turn out to be. And that is the reason why this isn’t worth watching at all. If you want to watch something that is substantial, watch something better and nicer. This can turn out to be a huge mood killer, especially if you aren’t someone who watches something like this.

Final Score- [4/10]
