Netflix's mystery-drama movie, “Luckiest Girl Alive” has officially wrapped up filming in New York City, today. Based on Jessica Knoll’s novel of the same name, who has also written the screenplay, the film is directed by Mike Barker with Mila Kunis leading the cast.
The movie began filming on June 28 in Toronto, Canada, and was completed on August 13. For the remaining part, the production resumed in NYC on 23rd August which got completed today (September 3).
Luckiest Girl Alive centers on Ani FaNelli (Mila Kunis), a sharp-tongued New Yorker who looks to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a great wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon. While the producer of a crime documentary invites Ani to give her side of the terrible incident that occurred when she was a student at the elite Bradley School, she is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to ruin her neatly built life.
The cast of the film also includes Finn Wittrock (The Big Short, American Horror Story), Scoot McNairy (Narcos: Mexico, Argo), Justine Lupe, Dalmar Abuzeid, Chiara Aurelia, Thomas Barbusca, Carson MacCormac, Alex Barone, Jennifer Beals, Melody Shang, Connie Britton, Alexandra Beaton, Nicole Huff, Leah Pinsent, James Gerald Hicks, and Gabrielle Hespe.
Jessica Knoll will also do a cameo in the film as "Woman in the elevator".

Luckiest Girl Alive is based on Knoll’s 2015 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name. Knoll’s novel has sold over a million copies worldwide and has been translated into 38 different languages.
