Netflix has created a new “Black Lives Matter” collection for its subscribers and it can be seen once you open Netflix today. It features over 45 titles about racial injustice and the experience of Black Americans.
Movies, TV shows and documentaries in the Black Lives Matter collection include Spike Lee’s “Da 5 Bloods” ; “Marvel's Luke Cage”, “When They See Us”, “Mudbound”, “Orange Is the New Black”, “Dear White People”, Oscar-winning “Moonlight”, “Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker” and many more.
Netflix began displaying a popup screen featuring the Black Lives Matter collection Wednesday when users first logged in to the service on web or connected-TV devices. The streamer also added the collection to users notifications.
Netflix in a tweet this morning said “When we say “Black Lives Matter,” we also mean “Black storytelling matters.”
With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time – we're starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience.”

Two weeks ago, Netflix was one of the first streaming giant to announce support for the Black Lives Matter movement after the Minneapolis police killing of George Floyd which triggered nationwide protests for equality and criminal-justice reform in USA.
Also since the Black Lives Matter movement has started, Netflix has'nt uploaded any new trailers or any fresh announcement. This very announcement has come almost after 10 days of inactivity.
