After the second season, I really thought that the makers would stop, but I was proved wrong. The makers did not stop and bombarded us with season 3. Yes, this time it is better than season 2, but also low-key cringe due to the predictability of the plot. So, as we all know from the last season, Vicky, after a messy breakup, finds love again in Matias. This time around, she wishes to keep it low-key and doesn’t make it “insta official”. Vicky’s life is very eventful. She has a lot at stake. In between exams and therapy, she, however, is on a roll and busy enjoying her newly formed relationship. But just like every relationship, this relationship also has its own issues. And the issues are very predictable. For example, Matias lands a new job, and Vicky becomes jealous of him. Weird, but yes, that happens. That is also because if you remember, she didn’t have a job in the last season, and this season, she is on the way to giving up. Just as you think what can go wrong, Matias and Vicky decide to take a romantic getaway, which becomes disastrous, further straining their relationship. And on top of that, Vicky understands that she cannot continue with her old therapist. So everything that can go wrong is going wrong for Vicky.
This plot is too troublesome. I mean, at one point, I wanted to see Vicky excel in life desperately. Since this isn’t real life, I feel makers could have given a plot to see Vicky win. This show focuses on women's empowerment through the life of Vicky. And while it is good, the plot is so predictable that you know what is going to happen next. For example, it is known that she is jealous of Matias' job. Now this concept is something we have seen already. Then again, their getaway “of course had” to be a debacle. This, too, is a plot we have seen before. So, not much of new plots we got this season, too. Again, the stories of the other characters felt far more interesting to watch when compared to Vicky's. I also felt that somewhere, the makers didn’t develop the character of Vicky. When we compare the journey from season 1 to now, that is, season 3, not much has changed. She remains the same confused woman who is looking for love. This is the most important thing that we, as an audience, notice. But this show lacks that.
Other than that, the makers have even dragged the plot for no reason. It goes on and on, and there is nothing to watch for after a point in time. It just goes on and on, and I still don’t know why the makers decided to drag it. Instead, they could have reduced the lengths and given us a short, sweet story.
Some people might like the plot. And that is perfectly fine too. But for me personally, I haven’t liked this series much. It runs on being mediocre, and that is annoying after a point in time.
Final Score- [4/10]
