Netflix has rounded out the cast for its upcoming mystery-drama movie, “Luckiest Girl Alive.” The streamer announced 11 new members who will be joining Mila Kunis in the film.

The newly announced cast includes Finn Wittrock (The Big Short, American Horror Story), Scoot McNairy (Narcos: Mexico, Argo), Justine Lupe (Succession, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Dalmar Abuzeid (Anne with an E, The Comey Rule), Chiara Aurelia (Cruel Summer, Tell Me Your Secrets), Thomas Barbusca (Black Monday, The Mick), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!, Riot Girls), Alex Barone (Dopesick), Jennifer Beals (The Book of Eli, The Last Tycoon), Melody Shang and Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, Nashville).

‘Luckiest Girl Alive’ is currently filming in Toronto, Canada. The shoot is expected to complete by end of this month.

Mike Barker (Black Match, The Handmaid's Tale, Fargo) serves as director for the film. Barker directed the pilot for Netflix's The Sandman and Hit & Run.

Luckiest Girl Alive centers on Ani FaNelli, a sharp-tongued New Yorker who looks to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a great wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon. While the producer of a crime documentary invites Ani to give her side of the terrible incident that occurred when she was a student at the elite Bradley School, she is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to ruin her neatly built life.

Bruna Papandrea and Jeanne Snow for Made Up Stories; Erik Feig and Lucy Kitada for PICTURESTART; and Mila Kunis for Orchard Farm Productions are the producers. Executive Producers are Jessica Knoll; Shayne Fiske Goldner; Lisa Sterbakov; and Steve Hutensky. Julia Hammer for PICTURESTART is co-producer.

Luckiest Girl Alive is based on Knoll’s 2015 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name. Knoll’s novel has sold over a million copies worldwide and has been translated into 38 different languages.
