Netflix has revealed the trailer and premiere date for the real-life competition show, ‘Run for the Money.’ The Japanese language show Run for the Money will release on Netflix on November 15, 2022.


Run for the Money has been expanded, and new episodes will be available on Netflix. 29 contestants, including aspiring young actors, idols and artists, popular comedians, professional athletes, and others, will strive to evade the most feared hunters yet, collect the largest cash reward to date, and entertain in a messy and epic battle.


Jiro Sato is the Game Master, while the contestants are - Asei (Miki), Ano, Hiroe Igeta, ELLY (J SOUL BROTHERS III from EXILE TRIBE), Yoshito Okubo, Miku Kanemura (Hinatazaka46), Hikari Kuroki, Naenano, Hollywood-Zakoshisyoh, Marin Honda, Kurochan (Yasuda Dai Circus), Kousei (Miki), Junichi Koumoto (Jicho Kacho), Yoshio Kojima, Tsukasa Saito (Trendy Angel), Keigo Sato (JO1), Hayato Sano, Shibatar, Jinjin (Paparapys), Toshiki Seto, Sukai Kinjo (JO1), Tanakaga (Paparapys), Atsuhiro Tsuda (Daian), Mahiru (Ganbareruyaym), Takuya Mitsuma, Minho (SHINee), Win Morisaki, Nako Yabuki (HKT48), Yoshiko (Ganbareruyaym).

Hiroaki Shoji is the showrunner while also being a director alongside Suguru Takizawa and Kazuteru Sato. Masataka Suzuki, Takeo Watanabe, Hayato Hirota, and Daijiro Ishihara are the writers. Taro Goto is an executive producer with Misato Sato Ray, Koya Watanabe, and Dai Kato as producers.


Run for the Money has been a "real-life tag" game show popular among people of all ages in Japan for 18 years since it originally aired on Fuji TV in 2004. This famous show, inspired by "onigokko," the traditional Japanese game of tag, packs in as many thrills as possible and has set the benchmark for survival game shows in Japan. It won Best Game or Quiz Programme at the Asian Television Awards in 2009, and it was nominated for Non-scripted Entertainment at the International Emmy Awards in 2010. After being televised in Japan and numerous other Asian nations, the series became a smash hit.
