Sandra Bullock & Channing Tatum ‘Lost City of D’ Officially Wraps Up Filming

The action-adventure also stars Daniel Radcliffe as the main Villain, and Brad Pitt will do a cameo in the film

Channing Tatum has confirmed, Paramount Pictures' the "Lost City of D" has officially wrapped up filming today in Samana, Dominican Republic. Starring Tatum and Sandra Bullock in the leading roles, the rom-com, and action movie started filming in May 2021. The film is set to release in theaters on April 15, 2022.


The movie revolves around a reclusive romance novelist (Sandra Bullock) on a book tour with her cover model, who becomes entangled in a kidnapping attempt, landing them both in a brutal jungle adventure.


After wrapping up the shoot, Tatum wrote on Instagram, "I love this movie so much I don’t have words. I also don’t have words for how special Sandy Bullock is. We definitely were made in the same lab and share a brain at times. I love you girl. And as you can see I’ll ride your coat tails anywhere anytime forever."


The film also includes Daniel Radcliffe, who is appearing as a villain. In the film, Bullock is playing a romance novelist/author, who discovers that the city she believed to have been created by her is a real place. She embarks on an adventure to find it, encountering many comical incidents along the way. 


The cast also includes comedian Patti Harrison, whose credits include “Together Together” with Ed Helms, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nuñez, Raymond Lee, Thomas Forbes-Johnson, and Héctor Aníbal. Brad Pitt will appear in a cameo role at some point.


Adam and Aaron Nee, whose credits include the upcoming superhero adventure “Masters of the Universe,” are directing “The Lost City of D,” from a script by Oren Uziel and Dana Fox. 


Bullock known for directing Horrible Bosses, is producing the film through her company Fortis Films. Liza Chasin from 3dot Productions and Seth Gordon of Exhibit A will also produce.
