REVIEW:
The director Malik Vitthal and crew brought a simple horror film but it was still enjoyable. The story unfolds when unexplained events continue occurring while investigating the strange death of a police officer. The movie surrounds itself by reality in its corruption, how police officers are treated, and how the misuse of a camera phone takes away the privacy. I wouldn't define this as an actual horror movie, because there were no chills, fear, creepiness, nor suspense.

This film could have also worked without the supernatural force but I didn't mind the entity because it gave the gory effect though I was hoping for something more fierce. While I liked the movie, I was also disappointed with how early I caught what was going on. There was a foreshadow too early which made everything so predictable, making it hard to feel the tension.

The composer Joseph Bishara is no stranger to horror movies and as always a great job setting the atmosphere. If it wasn't for how predictable it was, I would have enjoyed the music's intensity.

Fantastic cast and on-point performances. Mary J. Blige keeps surprising me, I'm not a fan of her as a singer because it is not my type of music, but I am a fan of her as an actor and she was incredible as the main character.

Final Score: [6.5/10]
