Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the British crime-thriller series ‘Stay Close.’ Based on the 2012 Harlan Coben novel of the same name, the limited series will release on December 31 on Netflix.

Stay Close questions how much you know someone, with trademark thrills, compelling tension, and secrets of prior crimes beginning to unravel. Megan (Jumbo), a working mother of three, Ray (Armitage), a once-promising documentary photographer, Broome (Nesbitt), a detective reluctant to let go of a missing person's cold case, and Lorraine (Parish), an old acquaintance of Megan's, are all hiding terrible secrets from those closest to them. What will they do when the past returns to haunt them, threatening to wreck their lives and the lives of those around them?

Stay Close reunites long-term collaborators Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee as executive producers, with creator Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst, who is back as a lead writer after the enormously acclaimed limited series The Stranger, which aired on Netflix in 2020. Stay Close, like previous adaptations, will relocate the plot from the United States to the United Kingdom.

The cast of the series includes Cush Jumbo as Megan, James Nesbitt as Broome, Dylan Francis as Jordan Shaw, Andi Osho as Simona,  Richard Armitage as Ray, Eddie Izzard as Harry Jo Joyner as Erin Cartwright, Youssef Kerkour as Fester, Sarah Parish as Lorraine, Hyoie O'Grady as Ken, Daniel Francis as Dave Shaw, Bethany Antonia as Kayleigh Shaw, Rachel Andrews as Bea, Poppy Gilbert as Barbie, and Phillip Gascoyne as Chief Inspector Gary Blakefield.
