Netflix has revealed a new teaser trailer for Turkish-language limited series ‘Hot Skull’. Set in a Dystopian world, the Post-Apocalyptic series ‘Hot Skull’ will release on December 2, 2022, on Netflix, worldwide.


The series, based on Afşin Kum's novel of the same name and created by Mert Baykal, is about an epidemic that spreads from mind to mind through communication. Timur Savc is the producer of the eight-episode dystopian adventure series.


In a world jolted by an epidemic of madness called ‘jabbering’ that spreads through language and speech, former linguist Murat Siyavuş is the only person who has mysteriously been unaffected by this disease. Upon discovering that this condition he hides from everyone is noticed and that they’re now after him, Murat is forced to leave the safe zone and escape within the ruins of Istanbul to search for the secret of his “hot skull”, a lasting legacy of the disease.


The cast of the series includes Osman Sonant, Şevket Çoruh, Barış Yıldız, Hazal Subaşı, Gonca Vuslateri, Tilbe Saran, Kubilay Tunçer, Özgür Emre Yıldırım, Zerrin Sümer, Furkan Kalabalık, Yetkin Dikinciler, Hakan Gerçek, Erdem Akakçe, Arda Anarat, Şebnem Hassanisoughi, Cüneyt Uzunlar, and Haluk Bilginer.


Mert Baykal, Zafer Külünk, Gökhan Şeker, and Müjgan Ferhan Şensoy have written the series. Baykal is the creator and director of this limited Turkish series.
