Marvel Studios has released the first full-length trailer (watch above) for the upcoming phase four movie “Eternals.” Also, Marvel has confirmed that they are sticking with the same release date and it will arrive in theaters on November 5, 2021.
The trailer reveals many clues including why the Eternals never interfered when Thanos attacked as well as shows the glimpse of a much fierce villain (a Celestial) who is way mightier than Thanos and controls the Eternals.
In the trailer, Ajak (Salma Hayek) says, “Five years ago, Thanos erased half of the population of the universe. But the people of this planet brought everyone back with the snap of a finger. The sudden return of the population provided the necessary energy for the emergence to begin.”
The trailer continues, as Sersi (Gemma Chan) says, "We're Eternals. We came here 7,000 years ago to protect humans from the Deviants." Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) asks, "Why didn't you guys help fight Thanos? Or any war? Or all the other terrible things throughout history?" "We were instructed not to interfere in any human conflicts unless Deviants were involved," replies Sersi.
The trailer also reveals Ikaris (Richard Madden) bringing the team together. Sersi reveals that she hasn't seen some of her Eternal teammates in hundreds of years. With the return of the monstrous creatures, the Deviants, long thought to be lost to history, Ikaris decides it's time for them to "find the others" and once again defend humanity.

Footage of Arishem the Judge from the above trailer
The trailer has revealed a new major MCU villain as well. It doesn't give us a lot about who exactly it is, but by the looks, it could be Arishem the Judge.
Arishem the Judge is a member of the Celestials, a race of near-omnipotent cosmic space gods who are in charge of Earth's Eternals and Deviants races. Each Celestial is approximately 2000 feet tall and wields extraordinary power in proportion to its size. They come to Earth in groups known as Hosts every few thousand years to observe, analyze, and pass judgment on Earth and its species.
Eson the Searcher is a member of the Celestials, a mysterious race of near-omnipotent space gods in charge of Earth's Eternals and Deviants. Every few thousand years, groups of celestials known as Hosts visit the planet Earth to observe, analyze, or pass judgment on Earth and its species. Eson, a Celestial who tests the stability of genes in the lifeforms they've evolved, puts them through a series of tests until they're ready to return to the planet and begin their new lives. He is in charge of deciding which missions Gammenon the Gatherer will be sent on.
