The latest installment in the cult-classic horror franchise was officially announced just earlier this week during the Cinemacon 2023, and now it seems that it is moving forward at a decent speed toward its destination as the filming schedule and a working title has been officially revealed.

Final Destination 6 has been given the title, "Bloodlines" - Final Destination 6: Bloodlines, although this may end up becoming the official title as well, but as of now this is the title under which it will be filming this Summer. Currently, in the pre-production and casting stage, Final Destination 6 will begin filming on July 17, 2023 March 4, 2024, in Burnaby, BC, Canada, and will take almost two months to officially wrap up on September 8, 2023 May 13, 2024.

Final Destination 6 will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein from a screenplay written by Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick based on a story by Spiderman: No Way Home helmer Jon Watts. Jeffrey Reddick is the creator of this film series and franchise. Final Destination 6 has an approximate budget of $20 million.

The rumored logline of the film reads, "As a group of first responders escapes death's grasp, they start to be killed by increasingly unlikely and killer mishaps." The official logline or the plot has been kept under wraps. Casting for the film is still in progress, and since we are just two months away from the filming begins, we might hear some news soon.

The Final Destination films are unique in the horror genre since the villain is Death personified rather than a physical supernatural being. Each film revolved around a character who foresees a dreadful and deadly tragedy, cheats his or her own death, and saves several other people in the process, only to have Death, as a personified but unstoppable entity, come for the survivors one by one.

Jon Watts is also producing the film along with Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, David Siegel, and Dianne McGunigle. Executive producers are Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, and Warren Zide. New Line Cinema is producing the film with Warner Bros. Discovery as the global distributor.

The franchise began its journey with the release of the first Final Destination movie in 2000, which was directed by James Wong. The film made $112.9 million at the box office on a budget of just $23 million. The hit film resulted in four more movies in the next 11 years, with Final Destination 5 releasing in 2011. Although Final Destination 4 was supposed to be the final film in the franchise, after it made $187.4 million at the box office on a budget of $40 million, Warner Bros. Pictures changed its mind and announced the fifth film.

Final Destination 5 was directed by Steven Quale and was theatrically released on August 12, 2011. The film was a prequel to the first film of the franchise. Final Destination 5 was a financial success, grossing $157 million at the box office against a $40 million budget, becoming the second highest-grossing film in the franchise.

Final Destination 6 currently doesn't have any release date.
