Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage’s ‘Brothers’ Officially Begins Filming [Exclusive]

Directed by Max Barbakow from a script penned by Etan Cohen and The Toxic Avenger writer and director Macon Blair, the film is likely to arrive in 2022

Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage's upcoming comedy movie “Brothers” has officially begun filming today (September 22) in Atlanta, GA. The movie, which comes from Legendary Entertainment is expected to wrap up filming by the end of November.


Everything about the movie has been officially kept under the wraps. Reportedly, Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage are portraying siblings and the film has some similarities with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito's 1988 comedy film Twins.


The movie also stars Glenn Close, Brendan Fraser, and Taylour Paige. The characters of none of the actors have been revealed yet. “Brothers” doesn't have a release date yet, but it is likely to arrive sometime in 2022.


Max Barbakow is directing “Brothers” from a script by Macon Blair and Etan Cohen. Blair was initially set to direct the movie before duties were passed to Barbakow.


Mad Chance’s Andrew Lazar will produce alongside Brolin via his company Brolin Productions and Dinklage through his shingle Estuary Films. David Ginsberg and Joshua Grode are also producers.


Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage have previously appeared together in Avengers: Infinity War. Dinklage is best known for his portrayal of Tyrion in HBO's hit series Game of Thrones. Brolin has appeared as Thanos in Infinity War, Endgame, and What If?, he also played Cable in Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 2.
