In the previous episode's review, I talked about closing of the Tabitha's lighthouse escape chapter, while the show came back to square one. To be honest, the show hasn't moved forward even an inch until now. The latest episode adds almost nothing to its progress as it felt like it has become a soap opera eating my time every Sunday.
The sixth episode begins with a verbal fight between Jim and Tabitha. The couple dig up each other's past and pass the blame. While Jim runs away to collect the vegetables from the location deep into the woods, Tabitha walks out and connects with Donna and later with Jade.
The only significant part of this episode was Boyd finding out from Kristi that there was an Ultrasound machine in the new ambulance in which Tabitha arrived. Boyd goes to the Colony house and informs Fatima and Ellis about the same, Fatima is hesitant at first but ultimately she agrees to the scan.
Meanwhile, Victor has found a new partner in his father for his weird adventures to find the answers. The father-son duo takes a trip to the woods and the underground tunnel. Victor wants to retrieve Jasper, and he thinks that this toy holds the answer to every burning question of the FROM town. I expected much more suspense, mystery, and scare jumps in their tunnel trip, but it went straightforward. Although, in the end, the duo did encounter a couple of creatures, they let Victor go as if he had some kind of deal with them. Again another mystery among the hundreds that is unanswered. Anyway, Victor got Jasper and they all came out of the until without any scratch. Now, how will Victor make Jasper solve all the mysteries, only time will tell.
However, the really surprising element of the episode was when Fatima went through the ultrasound scan and Kristi confirmed that Fatima is not pregnant and there is no baby. Fatima was shocked and asked for re scan, but the result was the same. She couldn't understand what was happening neither did we. The episode ended at the moment when Boyd asked Ellis and Fatima to tell Kristi whatever had been happening with Fatima for the past few days.
The sixth episode doesn't add much to the overall story neither it gives any answer. I understand when the writers don't give any opening to the characters to solve the mystery, but not giving any clue even to the audience when the third season is more than halfway through means only one thing, the writers also don't know where they are heading.
