Netflix has set the premiere date for Season 4 of “The Crown”. The royal British drama will be available to stream at Netflix on November 15.

The news was announced with a sneak-peak video (watch above) of season 4, which showed Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin in character as Princess Diana who was seen in her wedding dress on the day she marries Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor).

“Something as important as the monarchy simply cannot be allowed to fail,” reads Queen Elizabeth II voiced by Olivia Colman.

Created by Peter Morgan, Season 4 wrapped in March and it will be the current cast’s final turn as the British royal family. Season 4 will capture the arrival of Margaret Thatcher as prime minister and the often difficult relationship between Prince Charles and Diana.

The announcement comes off the back of a burst of casting announcements for seasons 5 & 6. In the last 10 days alone, “Game of Thrones” alum Jonathan Pryce was revealed as Prince Philip for the final two installments, with Elizabeth Debicki set to play Princess Diana.

Alongside Pryce and Debicki, Imelda Staunton will play Queen Elizabeth in the two seasons, with Princess Margaret being played by Lesley Manville.

Season 4 will be the final run of new episodes for two years. The show is taking a filming break until next year, meaning Season 5 will not premiere until 2022.
