Netflix has revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Norwegian movie, Royalteen. Based on "The Heir," the first book in the acclaimed YA series Royalteen by Randi Fuglehaug and Anne Gunn Halvorsen, Royalteen will release on August 17 on Netflix, worldwide.
Royalteen is a love story about learning to live with your mistakes, facing your fears, and breaking the internet. When Norwegian Prince Karl Johan (Mathias Storhi), Kalle amongst friends, and newcomer Lena (Ines Hyster Asserson) begin to develop warm feelings for each other, Lena is charmed but also skeptical, for a variety of reasons. Kalle, the party prince, appears regularly in tabloids and gossip blogs, one of which was maintained anonymously by Lena until she was exposed. Lena is fully conscious that dating the future king may place them both in an impossible situation, and she hasn't told Kalle or anybody else about her even deeper secret, which is also the reason she fled her homeland.
