"When I was offered the character of Nana in SKRUK, I had no doubts because the series deals with a topic that many people deal with: the desire to have children and the difficulties that come with it," says Josephine Park. "I believe that SKRUK can assist to refute preconceived notions about being in fertility treatment and explain the agony, but also the joy, that can be connected with starting a family in an unpretentious way. Then there's the thrill of playing such a nuanced character as Nana. She is a brilliant doctor with excellent people skills, but she is unable to manage her personal life."
The cast includes Josephine Park (Doggystyle), Simon Sears (Shadow and Bone), Olivia Joof Lewerissa (DNA), Mikael Birkkjær (Borgen), Amelia Høy (Countdown Copenhagen), Tammi Øst (A Perfectly Normal Family), Emil Prenter, Thomas Levin (Borgen), Jesper Ole Feit Andersen (The Chestnut Man), Morten Jørgensen, Charlotte Munch (Anna Pihl), Anne Sofie Wanstrup and the Swedish actress Lisa Carlehed (The Emigrants).
