While it might look like you have watched this plot before, and it may seem familiar, it doesn’t mean that it is not worth watching. Right from the start, we are shown the cold-blooded murder of a man who spits out a potion from his mouth mid-flight. That shows that something is up. As scenes move ahead, we are introduced to that man as an undercover operative who was smuggling the drugs, which ultimately killed him. Then comes into the picture the main character- Tea, who is an addict with a difficult past. Her mother was an alcoholic, and she also had an ex-boyfriend who was well into drugs. Tea is no ordinary girl. She tried to take control of her life and thus joined the police force as a trainee. However, the Danish security service drags her into undercover work in order to catch a criminal named Miran. But this cannot happen overnight. In order to achieve this goal, she has to let go of her life and become close to his girlfriend, Ashley, to build ties with him. She creates an alias of herself, Sara, who is a jeweler, to get close to Ashley. But the question is, will her plan succeed? Miran is a sharp guy, and somewhere his senses keep warning him about Sara. Will Sara be the reason for his downfall?
Now, dear readers, as you continue reading the summary of the plot above, you will realize that this is something you have watched. The subplots are very predictable. A drug addict with a difficult past is trying to create a life that is healthy for her. However, it is the execution that stands out from all of it. The makers have added every element that will make it a great watch and even make you forget that you have seen this plot before. Plus, it is not entirely predictable. There is a rush you feel when you see how she executes her plans as Sara, with Miran being doubtful of everything right from the day she entered Ashley’s life. The twists and turns add up to all the moments that the makers wish for us to notice.
The nuanced touch that Miran’s character has is deep. His love for his daughter and brother is apparent. But that same amount of love is not there for Ashley. That’s a shade of his character. Tea, too, comes in different forms. As Sara, we see her as a focused agent. As Tea, she is someone who is trying to build a life of her own.
For those of you who like spy thrillers, this can be a great watch for you. You will enjoy Tea’s journey through it all. Alongside this, even the story that the other characters bring to you adds to the intrigue and entertainment. The best part is that the show doesn’t drag on. It has six episodes, all of which are fast-paced. This ensures that you aren’t feeling bored at all, no matter what is going on. So brace yourself for a plot full of twists and turns. It will keep you hooked throughout and will give you many reasons to watch it.
Final Score- [8/10]
