‘Young Royals’ is continuously gaining popularity since it arrived on Netflix. The show has been a tremendous success for the streamer, which renewed the series after analyzing the first month of viewership data. ‘Young Royals’ has earned widespread praise for its LGBTQ+ representation and bringing out a gay relationship in the center of its story. The plot revolves around Wilhelm, a young Swedish prince who discovers his sexuality and struggles to choose between love and duty after being sent to a boarding school. Wilhelm instantly falls in love with Simon, a non-boarding student on a scholarship who is likewise dubbed a "socialist" by his classmates.
