Dom was first released in 2021 on June 4th in Brazil. It is a Portuguese-language crime drama series that focuses on Pedro and Victor. Since 2021, the drama has been considered very successful, and many Amazon Prime users have watched this drama without getting bored.

As this is considered the first ever Brazilian series to be on Amazon Prime Video, I decided to watch it without fail. After successfully having two seasons in a row, Dom is already set for its third season, and now it is available on Amazon Prime Video.

Well, I guess the third season is worth watching, even though it lacks a little bit. But the story of the third season is good enough. The series did make me feel bored in between some scenes, but overall, it was good to give it a try.

The third season is wrapped up for Dom, and the series is officially over. If we see and compare it to the previous two seasons, then this one didn't fail to stay up to my expectations, and it did justice to both the previous seasons.

The basic story of Dom is about a father and his son. Victor Dantas is a police officer who runs after criminals who use or consume drugs and supplies them. His son, Pedro Dom, is a drug addict, and he is part of a criminal case now. What will happen to the father-son duo when the father is an honest police officer and his son is totally opposite of him?

The final season of Dom is about showing how both father and son are on the verge of dying and that anything can happen to them at any time. This time, Pedro Dom is on the run, and he is trying his best to hide from the police.

Pedro Dom got himself a shelter in the biggest favela in Rio, called Rocinha. The drug dealers are also threatening him. What will Pedro do this time to protect himself? On the other hand, Victor is dealing with lung cancer, and at the same time, he has to protect his son when he already knows his situation.

I really enjoyed the last season of Dom and didn't find myself disappointed. But I wouldn't say that this is a masterpiece compared to the previous ones. The third season is the last one, so the writer could have executed the plot in a different manner. I felt like everything was rushed instead of going with the flow.

On top of that, the third session deserves more episodes, as it is the finale of the series. Dom Season 3 can't be considered the worst part, as the drama itself is very interesting and captivating, but the third season failed to keep the same bar as the previous season.

Final Score- [6/10]
