The much-loved and hyped show, Emily in Paris is back with another season on Netflix. Along with all the other crime thrillers and Christmas movies that Netflix has been releasing, Emily in Paris enters as a perfect distraction from all the Christmas and thriller content. Like the previous seasons, this also gives us 10 episodes having a run time of 26 – 37 minutes.

Emily in Paris season 3 has covered Emily’s professional life where she tries to help both Sylvie as well as Madeline who is heavily pregnant and does not have anyone to help other than Emily. Emily’s relationships have also become stronger with different dynamics between Gabriel, Alfie, and also Camille.

This season is about clearing the mess and answering the questions the second season left us. And that’s exactly what we get to see in the series’ first three episodes. In the last season, we saw Emily struggling in her personal life as well as her professional life. She was in a complete dilemma on choosing Alfie or Gabriel and also whether to choose to work with Sylvie or Madeline. After the ‘French Revolution’ episode of the last season, the audience and Emily were left with confusing situations.

In Season 3, we see Emily making the choices she truly wants after a lot of mishaps. This season is all about Emily trying to figure out what she wants to do in her life. When last season gave so much focus on her love life, this season has sort of tried to focus a lot more on her professional life.

Camille and Emily’s relationship has become better with all that happened between them in the last season. The two have decided to trust each other and take their friendship ahead. While Emily still struggles and tries to find a balance between her relationship with Alfie and her work, we find Gabriel more focused on what he wants, away from all the dilemmas he experienced during the second season of the series.

Mindy played by Ashley Park remains to have a prominent role like the rest of the characters. This season provides us with a lot of growth in each of the characters. Mindy also grows in her professional life as well as continues her relationship with her boyfriend she met in season 2 of the series. She remains a good friend and roommate to Emily throughout this season and continues to advise Emily on several things. Like the last season, Mindy’s character brings in the musical element included in the show. Beautiful covers of songs have been added giving the series a perfect musical element and break it requires from all the drama happening. The characters Luc and Julian also continue to add sass and comedy elements into the show with their remarkable dialogues.

Like the previous season, this season also has given us the charm of Paris. Emily in Paris without a doubt indulges in showing the audience Parisian beauty. From showing us the McDonald’s dipped in French culture to the extravagant outfits Emily wears this season, the show continues to catch our attention. This season thrives in providing us with the perfect combination of high fashion content that the female characters bring in and also the food content Gabriel brings in.

One positive thing about this series is that it gives a good story not only focusing on the main characters but also the side characters. All the characters seem to be involved in what is happening in the plot and everyone has a significant role to play. This season provides us with a lot of fashion content as well as food content that Gabriel brings in.

Even though the series gives us too many unrealistic situations or unimaginable life that Emily goes through, the show is truly an entertainer. It knows how to keep the audiences engaged through the story, the characters, the music, and also the fashion and food that the French are known for. The show certainly has the right amount of melodrama as it takes us into the world of Emily Cooper and keeps us entertained throughout. The show is a breezy watch and perfect for binge-watching with its compact episodes. Even though the series might not be everyone’s cup of tea, Emily in Paris fans will be able to enjoy this season without any difficulties as the show gives us twists and endless drama accompanied by good music.

Final Score – [8/10]
