This seventh episode kicks off the endgame with high stakes. With only 10 contestants remaining, the competition intensifies around strategy, loyalty, and sabotage as teams vie for advantages. Team Charlie: Braxton, Brett, Wes, Team Alpha: Maddy, Nikki, Leiya, and Team Bravo: Abby, Morgan, Pharaoh, and Sarah.
In the previous episode, Heavy sabotage and theft occurred. Alpha executed a deceptive plan (luring Charlie members away with false promises involving Nikki), while Leiya stole supplies (including a kayak attempt). Bravo’s Morgan stole shoes from Charlie. Tensions were extremely high, with accusations of bullying (especially from Charlie’s men), moral dilemmas for Leiya, and resource wars over items like bows, tarps, shoes, and fire-related advantages.
Episode 7 has one elimination and concludes with the Flaming Arrow Challenge. Teams must light a fire and shoot a flaming arrow to hit a target. Success advances them; failure eliminates the team. Camp Bravo (Abby Chu and Pharaoh Gayles primarily featured in the advance; context from prior episodes shows they had Sarah Awad and Morgan Colburn in their group earlier) succeeds. Pharaoh easily starts the fire with a ferro rod (they had traded/acquired resources like a bow earlier). Abby struggles initially but hits the target with the flaming arrow. They advance. Camp Charlie (Braxton Fish, Brett Johnson, Wes Saunders — often called the “villains” due to prior bullying allegations and toxic dynamics) fails. They improvise a makeshift bow (Brett builds it). It breaks during use. Wes tries to repair it, but they miss the target. The entire team is eliminated. Brett later describes his heart “sinking to his ass” at the loss. Charlie is out after Ep 7. Camp Alpha (Nikki Hru, Maddy Jones, Leiya Pillitteri) advances despite drama. Leiya struggles badly with fire-starting (blowing sparks repeatedly, getting emotional, and praying for help). Once the fire is lit, Nikki steps up in “action-hero mode” and quickly hits the target. They advance as a trio.
The final leg is a multi-stage race emphasizing navigation, endurance, teamwork, and ruthless decisions. Remaining teams: Alpha (Nikki, Maddy, Leiya) and Bravo (Abby, Pharaoh, and any remaining members like Sarah/Morgan contextually). Teams hike a difficult jungle area to a waterfall to find a key and further instructions. Alpha reaches the waterfall first. They retrieve their key and instructions but make a cold, calculated decision: They cut Leiya Pillitteri (described as the “weak link” in the final push). The math on splitting the prize makes it easier for Nikki and Maddy. Leiya is eliminated by her own teammates (perfunctory but emotional for her earlier in the challenge). Alpha continues as a duo (Nikki Hru and Maddy Jones). Camp Bravo gets lost due to navigation errors, particularly by Pharaoh (ignoring compass/map checks and taking wrong turns). This costs them critical time.
The Final Leg — Outrigger Canoe Race to the Beach: Alpha arrives at the jetty first. They paddle the outrigger canoe to the beach. They locate their key (initially misplaced/lost in the chaos but recovered) and light the green flare from their chest/gear, signaling victory. Bravo arrives too late as they reach the beach and can only watch dejectedly as Alpha celebrates. The race is not close.
In the end, a helicopter appears and drops a bag of cash into the sand as a dramatic reveal. Nikki Hru and Maddy Jones (Alpha Camp) are the winners and split the $1 million prize. They are emotional, crying, and discussing how their lives are forever changed. They take the only helicopter off the island. Nikki Hru and Maddy Jones (Alpha Camp) shared their $1 million cash reward. There are no additional cash prizes for runners-up, second place, or early eliminations beyond a possible small appearance fee. So, ultimately, no individual became a millionaire, but surely $550K is not a small amount.
The finale rewards strategy, speed in the final challenges, and ruthless decisions over pure survival or likability. Charlie’s earlier toxicity led to their early exit in Episode 7. Alpha’s calculated cut of Leiya secured the win for the remaining two. Bravo’s navigation mistakes proved costly. The season emphasizes that you must “outlast” as a team, but alliances and betrayals are fluid. Many viewers had strong opinions on Charlie’s dynamics throughout.
