In 2077, America is in pieces. Megacorps control life in all its aspects from the top floors of their sky-high fortresses. In a world where you have no future, what matters is that you control who you are. To survive and protect your independence, you modify your body with advanced cyberware and take jobs others would never dare. You choose to live free, bound by no systems or controls-the only rules you obey are your own. Because you're a Cyberpunk. In Cyberpunk 2077 you play as V-a hired gun on the rise and you just got your first serious contract. 9.Halo Infinite

Video game releases: 2020(expected)

Platforms:Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Microsoft Windows

Few videogame franchises form as big a part of Xbox's identity as Halo – and Microsoft knows it. When you think of Xbox, it's hard not to imagine the algae-green super soldier that is Master Chief and hours spent fending off the Flood. So it's no surprise that there's a massive new entry on the way for the series: Halo Infinite. Not only that, but the latest chapter in Master Chief's saga is set to release in late 2020 as a launch title for the next-generation Xbox Series X. The Halo series has had its ups and downs over the years; the latest, Halo 5, was a major disappointment for anyone who loved the series' single-player campaigns. But Halo Infinite could hopefully be a return to form, reminding people why the games have been so highly regarded in the past.

10.Outriders

Video game releases: September 2020(expected)

Platforms:PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows

Square Enix has revealed Outriders, the mysterious sci-fi game it's been teasing on Twitter. It's the next shooter from Bulletstorm developer People Can Fly, which pits up to three buddies against an alien world seemingly determined to eradicate what could be the last of mankind. Cheery stuff! A loud, red trailer accompanied the announcement, teasing some of the world's bigger threats. Give it a watch above. With Earth on its last legs, adventurous humans have taken to the stars to find a new home on the alien world of Enoch. Through Square Enix's teases, we know that the ship was damaged before it reached Enoch, and as the trailer reveals, it's not the sort of place where you can just build a colony and sit back.
