‘The Curse of Bridge Hollow’ Netflix Movie Review - A Perfect Halloween Movie!

The Curse of Bridge Hallow tells us the story of a dad and his teenage daughter Sydney. Initially, during the film, we see them moving out of Brooklyn to start living in the small town of Bridge Hollow. The town celebrates each festival like there is no tomorrow, and Halloween was just around the corner. Sydney celebrates her Halloween against her dad, who believes that there is no logic in Halloween or any other festivals. Unknowingly Sidney frees a mischievous spirit which causes all the Halloween decorations to come alive. How Sydney, her dad along with her friends save the town from this mishap is what we proceed to see throughout the film.

The story of the film is fun and happening and is a perfect watch for the season. The Halloween vibe is exploded throughout the entire movie reminding all of us that the spooky season is here. The characters are fun, and the chemistry between the father and the daughter duo is something that stands out. We see the difference in opinions between the two and what a family with a teenager looks like and how they make a progress in their fatter daughter’s relationship as the movie concludes.

The film is made for all kinds of audiences and can be enjoyed with family. The movie has tried to ensure that enough focus has been given to the characters and their story, and not just the whole Halloween theme. This comedy movie runs for an hour and a half and keeps you entertained till the end.

Even though the film does not contain a great story or something completely different it has done a good job with what it has. The visual effects used in the film are pretty good for a movie like this. The movie is totally exciting and should be watched lightheartedly.

The ending of the movie can be categorized as an open ending since it ends with something, which the father and daughter discover at their house. The film sort of shows us that their hustle does not end here as they have more coming their way. Overall, it is a quirky film with so many fun elements. It’s a perfect watch for teenagers and kids. It does have its goofiness making it a good family feature that can be easily enjoyed. During this Halloween season, The Curse of Bridge Hallow is a super fun Halloween-themed movie that is a perfect family watch.
