‘The Green Glove Gang’ Netflix Series Review - A Polish Show With a Feisty Attitude!

The Green Glove Gang is a thriller show, which is quite female-centric and is very much enjoyable. The show has been released with eight episodes with each having a time duration of 28-34 minutes.

The series tells us the story of three aged women Kinga, Zuza, and Alicja, who are a gang of robbers. When the recent heist gets a little out of hand and the police start investigating the case, they decide to hide in a nursing home without revealing who they are. The nursing home however does not seem normal and adds more chaos to their newfound peace. The nursing home brings in new challenges for them to face, and we see how they escape this set of hurdles throughout the entire series.

 
Through this series, the audience will be able to experience some dark comedy. The dark comedy starts when the trio enrolls themselves in the nursing home. The residents of the nursing home have fulfilled the dark comedy promised in the series. The residents and the environment of the nursing home give us some excellent comical twists and also at the same time appears like a weird place to be in.

The dram mostly is in the Polish language. The drama does not just focus on dark-themed burglary but also on how the trio bonds with the other residents of the nursing home. The story is very easy to grasp, and even though it might be dark-themed, it is very much enjoyable, all thanks to the comedy element and the charms of the characters. The plot is fast-paced therefore the audience will not experience any sort of lagging or stretchy episodes. Therefore it is safe to say that the show has continuously maintained the surprise element throughout making the drama an easy one to watch.

The show has tried to maintain balance with each of its structures and it has not focused on just one particular thing. Each element has been given equal importance. The plot maintains its interesting elements till the end, and the final episode will leave you wanting more. The show has turned out to be a perfect watch for an audience who are lovers of thriller heist genres. This Polish series gives us major girl gang vibes and will make us fall in love with the characters as well as the story. It is also quite refreshing to see elderly women in such roles and having all the swag. All in all, it is a witty show and is a perfect binge-watch for a mature audience.
