‘Welcome to Eden’ Season 2 Netflix Review - Fast-Paced Thriller Returns to the Island

Welcome to Eden is a Netflix series whose first season was released on the platform in May 2022. This thriller series is created by Joaquin Górriz and Guillermo López Sánchez and is now in its second season. Amaia Aberasturi, Berta Castañé, Begona Vargas, Guillermo Pfening, and many others are cast in this suspense thriller.

Zoa and four others receive an invitation to an exclusive party on a remote island they all get excited to experience this event. But the festivities are not what she and the others expected. This random decision to attend a party changes their life and makes it nothing less than an adventure. The series’ first season had 8 episodes and the second season followed the same pattern. Each episode has a run time of 41-52 minutes.

The first season of the show ended with Zoa planning an escape from the island, and the new season starts where the first leaves us with. The first season received mixed reviews from the viewers. When some found the series extremely action-packed and entertaining, others found it a bit lagging, dull, and a little repetitive. But overall, the first season did deliver some good memories for the viewers. it was well executed in most areas, well-acted, and also had an interesting story. The first season leaves you intrigued with its imaginative layout.

And now the second season of Welcome to Eden is streaming on the Netflix platform for its viewers to watch. The second season offers us much more adventures and mysteries to enjoy. The story also gets developed and becomes a lot darker with each episode making it interesting. There are also new arrivals on the island therefore we get new characters and storylines apart from the old cast.

The drama caters to the genres of sci-fi and thriller/suspense. One good thing about this drama is that there is a lot of focus on – plenty of characters and storylines. Like the first season the second season can keep the viewers hooked to the screens making it an easy binge-watch. With each episode, each mystery keeps getting revealed. The actors also have undoubtedly delivered their best just like how they did in the previous season.

The second season is more about answering and clearing the doubts of the viewers that were created while the first season aired. And the second season certainly fulfills all the questions and intriguing thoughts we might have in our heads regarding the characters and their storylines. The second season is an action-packed thriller with storylines focusing on friendships, relationships, and also murder, survival, and lots of drama. Since the show is fast-paced there are no dull moments. The story carries on quickly, and also the intermingling of the storylines somehow makes it more interesting.

The show is certainly worth a watch if you are into the above-mentioned themes and genres. This is because Welcome to Eden is a crazy show with some chaotic characters always under fire and will keep you focused most of the time. If you have enjoyed the first season, then the second season is a must-watch!
