Marvel Studios has revealed the first trailer for the fourth Captain America film and the first one without Steve Rogers.’ Led by Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson as the new Captain America, the MCU's upcoming movie, Captain America: Brave New World will release in theaters on February 14, 2025.

The trailer begins with a heated White House meeting in which Sam confronts freshly elected US President Thaddeus Ross. Harrison Ford makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Ross, a part originally played by the late William Hurt.

Ross and Sam have a history: in his former job as Secretary of State, Ross was in charge of capturing Sam and his fellow Avengers during the events of Captain America Civil War. Ross, now president, is ready to collaborate with Sam in order to elevate Captain America to an official military role.

But Sam's fragile partnership is compromised when he finds himself at the center of an international issue, with buddy and former supersoldier Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly) as the leading suspect. Sam's inquiry leads him on a risky chase, and the teaser concludes with a fatal encounter and a glimpse of the terrifying Red Hulk.

The trailer also contains a few familiar characters, including Danny Ramirez as former Air Force lieutenant Joaquin Torres, who has taken on Sam's old wings and become Falcon. Tim Blake Nelson reprises his role as Samuel Sterns, AKA The Leader, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time since The Incredible Hulk (2008). Shira Haas joins the cast as Ruth Bat-Seraph. Ruth, a former Black Widow, is now a high-ranking US government officer who is trusted by President Ross. Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Xosha Roquemore co-star.

Giancarlo Esposito is reportedly playing George Washington Bridge, and he pretty much occupies a good amount of screen time in this trailer where he can be seen firing with a big machine gun.

‘Captain America: New World Order’ is likely to lead straight into the Marvel Studios' upcoming film Thunderbolts, which will see Marvel's Vigilante superhero team reportedly assembled by Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross to tackle deadly threats.

Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, Nate Moore, Louis D’Esposito, and Charles Newirth are the producers behind this film. Captain America: New World Order is currently slated to release on February 14, 2025, in theaters, worldwide.
