Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the second season of the Spanish-language series ‘Holy Family,’ which was renewed last year soon after its premiere. ‘Holy Family’ Season 2 will release on November 17, 2023, on Netflix, worldwide.
Originally titled, Sagrada Familia, the second season will follow Gloria, who is haunted by the past and will go to any length to secure a future for her family, even as new plans and mysteries emerge in the neighborhood.
In the series, the arrival of a new family in Fuente del Berro will shake the neighborhood's stability, where Gloria lives with her baby and Aitana, her au pair while hiding from a mysterious and dark past. In a neighborhood where nothing is as it seems, four neighbors will form a strong friendship because they all have one thing in common: they are mothers. Their relationship appears to be perfect until Gloria's past intervenes. It is then that we will discover what a mother is capable of doing to protect her family, her most precious possession.
At the end of the first season, Gloria, Abel, Aitana, and Hugo all are still on the run, and with Natalia as a hostage, ‘Holy Family’ Season 2 is likely to begin from where the first one left off, with Fernando continuing to pursue his grandson. German would almost probably survive and become involved as an ally of Abel, assisting in their protection from Fernando and Natalia and anyone else they might recruit.
The first season of Holy Family stars Najwa Nimri, Carla Campra, Iván Pellicer, Alba Flores, Ella Kweku, Álex García, Macarena Gómez, and Álvaro Rico among others. Any new addition to the cast in the second season is yet to be revealed by Netflix.
