Netflix revealed the trailer for the second season of the Italian-language series, ‘The Law According to Lidia Poët’ while also confirming its release date for all six episodes. ‘The Law According to Lidia Poët’ Season 2 will be released on October 30, 2024, on Netflix, worldwide.
Originally titled, La legge di Lidia Poët, the series is set in Turin, in 1884. Lidia is barred from practicing law due to a law made by men. So this time, she shoots even higher: she wants to alter the law. While she continues to work with her brother Enrico on fresh cases and campaigning for women's rights, she hopes to persuade him to run for Parliament so that her law may finally have a voice. Lidia is done with love, especially with Jacopo, who sold the family villa and is on a collision path with the Poëts. However, Jacopo and Lidia are obliged to meet again to share, grudgingly, a secret inquiry that affects them deeply, regaining the collaboration and joy that has always connected them together. Giving the protagonists a hard time is the new King's Attorney, Fourneau, a man of the institutions who unexpectedly treats Lidia as an equal, prompting her to question her complex and contradictory relationship with feelings, as well as the cost of personal renunciation in the name of her ideals.
In the six new episodes, Lidia will continue to deconstruct the world established by men for men with total genius, stunning the opponent with knowledge, and irony, and without mincing her words, while simultaneously questioning herself.

‘The Law According to Lidia Poët’ Season 2 was filmed between June and October 2023 in Turin, Italy. Letizia Lamartire and Matteo Rovere are the directors of the series while Elisa Dondi, Daniela Gambaro, and Paolo Piccirillo are the writers.
