HBO Max and DC Series ‘Titans’ has officially begun filming for Season 4 in Toronto, Canada, today. The production on the fourth season is expected to complete by July 2022.

Update Mar/21: We confirmed with an on-location source that Season 4 will have 12 episodes, not 8 as previously reported. Also, Boris Mojsovski has confirmed the same in a reply on Instagram. Our previous source is also the same one from the filming location.

Nick Copus is directing the first episode of Season 4, whose previous credits include Gotham, Arrow, Animal Kingdom, and American Gods.

The 13-episode third season of Titans was released on August 12 on HBO Max and become an instant hit on the streamer, which led to its renewal during the DC Fandome 2021. The season three finale of TITANS premiered on Thursday, October 21.

Titans Season 4 has already revealed the new faces joining the cast. The Originals and Vampire Diaries star Joseph Morgan as Sebastian Blood/Brother Blood, Franka Potente as May Bennett/Mother Mayhem, and Lisa Ambalavanar as Jinx have joined the series. Reportedly, Alexander Luthor Jr., son of known Superman villain Lex Luthor is also rumored to appear in this season.

In the comics, Brother Blood seemed to rely all of his decisions on Mother Mayhem's advice, however, this was a female cultist picked at random and killed if the advice was not what he wanted to hear. He also has vampiric powers. He explained that the Cult of Blood was founded on Trigon the Terrible devotion. Raven was chosen as the new Bride of Blood for this reason. The Titans were successful in saving Raven, but the Church of Blood survived.

TITANS follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find where they belong. In season three, circumstances pull our heroes to Gotham City, where they reunite with old friends and face new dangers. Season three stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, and Joshua Orpin with Alan Ritchson, Damaris Lewis, Minka Kelly, and Savannah Welch.

Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television, have produced “Titans.” Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti created the series. Based on DC Comics characters, the executive producers are Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, Greg Walker, and Sarah Schechter.
