The leaked trailer of ‘Tron: Ares’ is currently doing rounds on the internet after Disney revealed it during the D23 on Friday night. Directed by Joachim Ronning, Tron: Ares will be released in theaters on October 10, 2025.
The first trailer reveals the first look at Jared Leto and takes us to an unfamiliar world of Tron where instead of getting transported into the video game world of Tron, the entities from the game's world have emerged in reality. Evan Peters‘ villain Julian Dillinger says in the trailer, “We’re not going there, they are coming here.” Tron's light cycles may be seen rushing along city streets, leaving laser-thin wakes and cutting automobiles in half. Jared Leto plays the Tron-like creature dressed in crimson, while Greta Lee portrays a brilliant programmer whose great work has Ares coming into the world.
Later in the trailer, Jared Leto's character says, “I came here to find something…something important.” We see him zooming on a light cycle with Lee’s character. Watch the leaked trailer below from Reddit.
