Action-Adventure Movie ‘TROLL’ Trailer and Release Date on Netflix

Netflix has revealed a new full-length trailer (watch above) for the epic Norwegian action-adventure movie, TROLL. Roar Uthaug’s ‘TROLL’ will release on December 1 on Netflix, worldwide.

Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?

The film is directed by internationally acclaimed Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave) from a script written by Espen Aukan. It stars Ine Marie Wilmann in the lead role as “Nora”, Kim Falck plays “Andreas”, the advisor to the prime minister, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen is seen as “Kristoffer”, a captain in the Norwegian army, and Gard Eidsvold will play Nora’s father “Tobias”, a former professor in folklore research.

“Troll is an idea that has been developing in the back of my mind for over 20 years,” said Uthaug. “To finally be able to realize it with the enthusiastic and ambitious people at Netflix and Motion Blur is truly a dream come true. I can't wait to unleash this Norwegian monster in the world.”
