This is a feel-good comedy that many of you will like. Director Felipe Joffily gives us a wonderful cross-cultural delight. At the center of the film is Octivio, a father. He runs a beautiful restaurant with his family, where his daughter Mariana also works. She aspires to become a musician, having successfully gone to Paris to study the same. But when she gets back, she gives the biggest news of her life- she is getting married. The guys? His name is Migule, whom she met in Paris. Of course, Octivio isn’t happy about it because Migule happens to be an Argentinian. He reluctantly agrees to meet his family after being forced by Mariana. What could have been a peaceful thing ended up becoming a comedy of errors. Their meeting was fueled by nationality clashes and some misunderstandings. But what is important to note is that none of these are offensive, serious clashes. They are just normal, friendly, funny clashes that make the movie worth watching. Throughout the film, we see both families exploring their differences, wondering how the two lovebirds will make it in life. From witnessing food fights to seeing which country is better at sports, this fun banter is what forms the core of the movie.

Again, the plot isn’t anything extraordinary. But it gives us enough fun moments to watch and enjoy. The dialogs are on point, and so are the comic timings of the cast. Jokes don’t feel forced, and it all comes naturally. Even the fun comparisons don’t feel bizarre at all.

When it comes to acting, the actors are amazing. Julia Svacinna as Mariana is flawless in her role. She looks delicate and does a great job as a daughter who is liked by her in-laws and is trying her level best to convince her father. Talking about the father, Leandro Hassum as Octivio looks natural as a protective, proud girl dad. Through his inhibitions about Miguel and his concern about getting his daughter married to an Argentinian, his character is of prominent importance. For such an important role, he is the perfect fit and delivers us exactly what we need and expect from him. The rest of the cast also supports the plot well.

If you are someone who likes light banter along with a comedy of errors, this movie is perfect for your weekend. The plot is fast, meaning it doesn’t slow down or drag itself to reach the conclusion. Everything is point on- right from Mariana going to Paris, to coming back and breaking the news of the wedding, and the rest of the plot, everything is quick. So definitely you won't feel bored for sure. This movie is loud and funny and most importantly, heart-warming. A father's love is beautifully shown here.

Final Score- [8/10]
