The Boys season 2 first three episodes premiered last week, and it has already made the fans super-hyped for the upcoming episodes, and now the things are about to get more “Fuckin’ diabolical” with Love Sausage joining the team of The Boys.
Andrew Jackson is set to play Love Sausage in season 2 of The Boys, he has previously appeared in shows like Criminal Minds, Reign, and Dark Matter.
Love Sausage's real name is Vasilii Vorishikin, and he is a former Russian superhero and ex-police officer. Currently, he is the owner of a bar in Moscow with a penchant for drinking a beverage made from brake fluid that he passes off as Vodka. He used to be part of the Glorious Five Year Plan, a team of five superheroes (including teammates The Tractor, Purge, Red Banner, and Collectivo, all presumably retired) in the days of the Soviet Union.
Love Sausage will appear in episode 6 of season 2 along with Lamplighter played by Shawn Ashmore and will help The Boys in their fight against Stormfront. He will also be the one supe who likes Hughie and we are likely to see some good bonding between them.
Vas' 'Vodka' saves both Vas and Hughie from the poison laced in a Russian soup borscht, Vas puts it off as "This shit would probably kill AIDS virus!". Hughie strangely grows to like the drink and Vas gives a whole bag of bottles to him at the end of the story.
Love Sausage's superpower appears to be that he is extremely well endowed and super-strong and durable. This being the case, he cannot run straight whilst aroused and describes large female breasts to be his Kryptonite.
The addition of Love Sausage is surely going to add more spice to The Boys which is already the most talked show of this month and surely its hype is worth waiting for. However, it will be interesting to see if the character returns in the next season.
