REVIEW:

The director David S. F. Wilson and crew brought a foreseeable adaptation. This was his directional debut and it wasn't badly directed, but this film needed to be unfolded differently. When they released the 1st trailer the story felt completely told well the plot holes were obvious of how they were bringing up the story and even if one didn't watch the trailer the movie still revealed the true event too early. It may not have been surprising, but still entertaining, even for a film that I never had expectations. Though I expected more fighting sequence to be at the level of one being mind blown because of his enhancement body. The effects of nanotechnology were great, but it needed more scenes to shoot it off. Honestly, it is a film that I wouldn't re-watch, it is like a one-time entertaining film, but I wouldn't mind if they target for a sequel.

The composer Steve Jablonsky almost had this character's theme to be remembered. The music is good but needed more heart to make a Bloodshot theme.

Even though the film wasn't perfect that doesn't mean the cast was bad. When Vin Diesel takes upon a badass role nothing stands in his way. There are so many actors that are trapped in the same role and Vin Diesel in an exception because he is so good at it and it never gets tiring watching this kind of performance. Guy Pearce an actor that has no limit, is the kind of actor that one can always enjoy any sort of performance. Now Sam Heughan's performance was a breath of fresh air, he is known for the role of Jaime in the incredible TV series Outlander. The series is currently in its 5th season and is magnificent as ever and watching this actor in this film as a villain was different in a positive way. Hopefully, now he will have turned heads with his magnificent performance. Lamorne Morris, the one who brought the humor, entertaining from the moment he made his appearance, loved his character. I can't say much for Eiza González and it isn't her fault, she barely performed almost every shot was projected to be a sexy symbol. She is more than being beautiful, and given the chance, she could have performed great, but instead, they preferred to win the audience this way.

Final Score: [6/10]
