‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3: Filming Schedule and Director Revealed [Exclusive]

The third season of the Netflix hit series was already in pre-production and now we can also confirm the filming schedule for ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 along with the name of one of the directors of the upcoming season.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 will begin filming on April 29, 2024, in Toronto, Canada, and will take four months to officially wrap up on September 02, 2024. The rumors suggested that the show would be filming seasons 3 and 4 back to back since they got renewed together, but based on the info we currently have, the show is planning to complete production only on Season 3, while the fourth season will be left for the future.

We can also confirm that April Mullen will be one of the directors of the third season. Mullen's directing credits include shows like The 100, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Wynonna Earp, Killjoys, Tiny Pretty Things, and more.

The second season of the show was released in January 2023, while it got the two-season renewal in May 2023, but the filming couldn't commence because of the writer's and the actor's strike.

In Season 2, the friendship shared by Max and Ginny is suffering a lot, they have their highs and lows but what matters, in the end, is that they become great friends again. Max recently got out of a toxic relationship and is now seen falling for the right girl, Silver. Abby however is seen suffering a lot due to her parent's divorce. She is very conscious about her body and uses tape on her thighs to make them look thin. Marcus’s story is still incomplete and the effect the breakup had on both him and Ginny was heartbreaking. They both are becoming friends. Joe is unable to communicate his feelings and ends up getting attached to Cynthia. Joe will have to sort out things with Cynthia before starting something new. It seems hard that this man will ever have the courage to go to Georgia and convey his feelings. It is amazing how they met in their childhood and they still remember every word of the conversation they had.

At the end of the second season, Georgia was arrested during her wedding with Paul for Tom's murder and was thrown into prison. It was certainly not a perfect ending as fans would really want to know what's next for Ginny now that her mother is in jail and considering their past records, it won't be long before Georgia finds herself breathing in the open air.
