Marvel’s Secret Invasion is a six-part miniseries that follows Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) as they uncover a plot by the shape-shifting Skrulls to infiltrate and take over Earth. The series is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, which was one of the biggest crossover events in Marvel history. The series features a star-studded cast, including Emilia Clarke, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Dermot Mulroney, and more.

The fifth episode of Secret Invasion, titled “Harvest”, left us with a lot of cliffhangers and questions. Fury discovered that Rhodey (Cheadle) is actually a Skrull named Raava, who has been working with Gravik (Ben-Adir), the leader of the rebel Skrulls. Gravik is after “The Harvest”, a collection of DNA samples from the Avengers that Fury hid in a grave in Finland. Fury retrieved the samples and planned to hand them over to Gravik in exchange for peace, but not before leaking the footage of him killing Maria Hill to the media, exposing himself as a fugitive. Meanwhile, G’iah (Clarke) and Varra (Scott), two loyal Skrulls who were close to Talos, teamed up to stop Gravik’s assassins. President Ritson (Mulroney), who survived the attack on his convoy, was recovering in the hospital under Fury’s protection, but he was also being manipulated by Raava to launch a nuclear strike on New Skrullos, the Skrull homeworld. Sonya Falsworth (Woodard), the new director of SIS, revealed herself as an ally of Fury and helped him escape from Weatherby (Dalton), another Skrull agent.
Secret Invasion Episode 6 will be released on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at 8 am GMT, exclusively on Disney+. The episode is reported to be the longest one yet, with a runtime of around 50 minutes.

So, what could happen in the sixth and final episode of Secret Invasion?

Fury might reveal his master plan. Fury is known for being one step ahead of everyone else, so I doubt that he will simply give up the Harvest to Gravik without a backup plan. Perhaps he has tampered with the DNA samples or planted a tracker on them. Maybe he has contacted some of his old friends from SHIELD or the Avengers to help him out. Whatever it is, fans are sure that Fury has something up his sleeve that will surprise both Gravik and Raava.

Ritson could die or be deposed. Ritson is clearly not fit to be president, as he has been compromised by Raava and is on the verge of starting a global war. Fans have speculated that he could either die from his injuries or be removed from office by some means. This might pave the way for Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) to become the new president, as he was seen campaigning in the previous episodes. Ross is a former general who has a history with the Hulk and the Avengers, and he might have a different approach to dealing with the Skrull threat.

Rhodey’s identity may be revealed. Rhodey is one of Fury’s oldest friends and allies, so it was shocking to learn that he was actually a Skrull in disguise. Fans wonder how long he has been impersonating Rhodey and what his motives are. Fans also wonder how this will affect his relationship with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), who might make a cameo appearance in the finale. We think that Rhodey’s true identity may be exposed to the public and that he may face some consequences for his actions.

G’iah and Varra could join forces with Fury. G’iah and Varra are two of the few Skrulls who are loyal to Talos and his vision of peaceful coexistence with humans. They have been trying to stop Gravik’s plans and honor Talos’ legacy. I think that they could eventually meet up with Fury and join forces with him to stop Gravik and Raava. They might also help Fury communicate with New Skrullos and prevent a nuclear war.

Gravik may be defeated or redeemed. Gravik is the main antagonist of Secret Invasion, as he is the leader of the rebel Skrulls who want to conquer Earth and wipe out humanity. He is ruthless, ambitious, and charismatic, but he also has a tragic backstory that explains his hatred for humans. He lost his family and his planet to Thanos’ snap, and he blames Fury for not doing enough to stop it. He also believes that Talos betrayed his own kind by siding with humans. I think that Gravik may either be defeated by Fury and his allies or redeemed by learning the truth about Talos and Fury.
