The finale we've all been waiting for is finally out. This episode brings out a gripping finale, but also sets the stage for future courses. The episode starts with Kevin standing in a pool of blood, having a breakdown near Ruby’s dead body. His breakdown appears to us to be what is called a confession. We are shown that Kevin comes to know that Bella knew Conrad and Eddie’s real father is Conrad, not Kevin. That’s some really big confessions. Kevin, who once wanted to hold everything and everyone together, no longer desires the same. Harry arrives at the scene and prepares to dispose of Ruby’s body. And from here, the biggest plot twist comes into the picture: O’Hara, who was once a loyal person to the family, is actually the traitor. She has been providing Richie with intel for over a year now. Now she isn’t the only one giving info, it turns out there is someone else doing the same.

Still, Richie has faith in O’Hara. Harry leverages that and uses her as bait to invite the enemy into the final move. With Conrad and Maeve behind bars, the Stevensons and Harrigans want to go toward the endgame. Kevin pays Conrad a visit to the prison to inform him of O’Hara’s betrayal. In the prison, Maeve manipulates Eddie into targeting Harry and Seraphina. She lands the final blows by telling them that Conrad is his real father. Eddie, unable to take the truth, lashes out at her and almost strangles her to near death. However, he is stopped by Harry’s crew.

Harry pays a visit to Kat, who proposes an alliance. She wishes to erase the Harrigan family. But to execute her idea, she needs Harry’s inside knowledge. Now this is a dicey position- you don’t help her out, you become her enemy, but if you help her, you get to be her ally. However, Harry is smart, and he denies becoming her ally, thereby reaffirming his allegiance to the family he has been so loyal to from the start.

Finally, we see that Riche is outplayed. But it's a cathartic and satisfying end to his arc. While this warps Richie’s plot, we also see the ground laid for season two. Kevin and Seraphina are ready to take over. But there is also a scope for a looming showdown. Harry remains the MVP, and the moment that shows his wife Jan and a knife sets the tone for something bigger. This episode somehow runs swiftly. We try to navigate what has been happening with both the family. The last episode has been written in a way that solves many issues, but also keeps an eye on the second season.  From this season, clearly, a second season is really up in the cards as certain subplots are yet to get clear. Whatever lies ahead for us as the audience and the rest of the cast, we know for sure that this show is very intriguing.

Final Score- [8/10]
