Episode 3 of MobLand kicks off with a bang—literally—as Kevin’s house is reduced to rubble in a fiery explosion. The aftermath is immediate and chaotic. Kevin frantically calls Harry, warning him that Richie has officially made his move and is coming after them.
Meanwhile, Harry’s home becomes the next pressure point. Richie’s thugs show up to intimidate him, but Harry isn’t caught off guard. He’s already on a speaker call with Conrad and quickly turns the tables by identifying the men and threatening to take them down. The thugs retreat without incident, shaken by Harry’s resolve and his apparent access to backup. Knowing the danger is escalating, Harry seeks temporary refuge with an old friend, Mike—a man who’d prefer to stay far away from criminal entanglements. A washed-up sports journalist and chronic gambler, Mike’s hardly thrilled to see Harry show up, mainly since he still owes him £30,000. Regardless, Harry brings Gina and Jan to stay on Mike’s boat while he works on damage control.
Harry eventually reunites with Kevin and Eddie at the yard for a tense reveal. He’s captured Valjon, the club owner, and the man is tied up and bloodied. More disturbing still is the presence of Tommy’s remains. Harry demands answers, and Valjon delivers a disturbing account: Eddie allegedly offered £10,000 for Hughie’s murder and instructed Valjon to bring both Eddie and Tommy to the club. What was meant to be a setup turned into a slaughter—Tommy was stabbed dozens of times while Eddie was mysteriously absent during the chaos.
Kevin is blindsided. Armed with a taser and years of fatherly rage, he turns to Eddie, furious and desperate to know the truth. Eddie's involvement is murky at best, and while he denies everything, Kevin isn’t convinced. The betrayal stings, and the possibility that his own son might be lying about murder leaves him unhinged.
In the final moments, Kevin calls Conrad to deliver the shocking update, but the conversation doesn’t go unnoticed. Maeve, always lurking, listens in and seems oddly satisfied with Eddie’s ruthless behavior. Her pride in Eddie’s supposed brutality alarms Conrad, who clearly doesn’t share her warped sense of loyalty. He cuts the call short, needing time to digest the weight of it all.
Episode 3 inconsistent tone—veering between unhinged brutality and near-comedy—makes for a strange viewing experience. The plot remains with potential, the logic often baffling, and most characters still feel aimless. Yet somehow, that unpredictability adds a sliver of entertainment value, if only because you never know what bizarre twist is coming next.
The episode is a turning point—truths are surfacing, loyalties are splintering, and Eddie’s role in the bloodshed is under a harsh spotlight. As the story accelerates and alliances falter, one question looms large: is Eddie really the monster they fear—or is someone else pulling the strings?
