Vince McMahon, a personality so powerful that many are obsessed over his presence and role in WWE. The documentary has six episodes and takes us through all phases of his life. Countless interviews from him, his family members, wrestlers, and the media personnel have been included. The show's narrative begins when Vince's father used to run his own ring to Vince setting up a multi-billion empire. The documentary has excellently captured the allegations against him and found the perfect balance to show both sides of the story. While initially I thought that they might be just glorifying the man, the documentary proved that it doesn't believe in bias. Systematically, all his accomplishments as well as the allegations have been included in a regulated time frame. The issues of him controlling the company, the wrestlers facing injuries, steroid dependency, less age of wrestlers, and every other thing has been involved. The makers of the documentary might have not missed any point and neither did they overspend time on any particular issue. The timeframe has been divided excellently and this one is specifically made for the WWE fans.

The documentary clearly states in the first episode itself that the majority of the interviews shot for it were done before the allegations against Vince went public. After a series of serious allegations against Vince, his attitude of never giving up and striving for the best caught the eyes of the viewers. The person has innumerable cases against him and is under constant scrutiny. With a total of six episodes, the documentary successfully established how the WWE business grew under Vince’s guidance and how he, the one behind it all, is now distant. Wrestling fans should watch this documentary based on the life of the man behind the sensational WWE. Vince has stepped down from his position and even denied giving further information for the documentary. This was disheartening to watch as the person who glorified his persona from the start wasn't there to give explanations behind his act. Though all his moves are calculated, the audience deserves to know his side of the story too. I wasn't a big fan of WWE due to the violence shown yet the fact that it was popular among teenage boys and men, they are the correct audience for the documentary.

In all, the documentary can be best judged by the fans who watch WWE. Watching how the women were openly harassed on the show and Vince had his tongue down their throats, felt uncomfortable. Imagine how uncomfortable those wrestlers might've felt. There's a thin line between reality and fiction and in order to gain those numbers, Vince forgot its existence. His journey is representative of the fact that one should stay grounded. It's good to bring in new business ideas until the line of decency is maintained. Though wrestling has been a decent sport to watch, it was extremely uncomfortable knowing what went behind the scenes to gather those numbers.

Final Score – [7/10]
