Netflix ‘The Green Glove Gang’ Season 2 Review - Is this the Final Heist?

Alicja, Zuzu, and Kinga have been residing with the other elders in Bieszczady, preparing to part ways and dissolve their gang. Meanwhile, Alfred and Gujska have been conducting raids across various locations in Our Town in a futile attempt to locate the gang. Their repeated failures have severely tarnished their public image, especially as the townsfolk openly celebrate the gang's actions.

Unbeknownst to them, Maria has been clandestinely informing Igor of the gang's movements. Igor, in turn, is collaborating with Marzena, who is eager to exact her revenge on the gang.

Just as they are about to leave, Zuzu receives a distressing call from her son, Tomek, who is in the hospital. Upon learning that he was severely beaten after falling into debt with the notorious gangster Kryzysztof Masarz, Zuzu decides to stay behind to support her son. Her friends, Alicja and Kinga, choose to stay and support her as well.

To settle Tomek's debt, Zuzu visits Masarz. During their meeting, Masarz offers a proposal to the gang: he wants them to steal a valuable art piece known as the Venus of Kazakhstan for him. As Alfred struggles with the increasing pressure of the case, the Chief threatens to shut down the precinct if there are any more failures.

Amidst the chaos, Alfred begins receiving letters from his deceased mother, providing guidance on how to proceed. The question is, are these letters really written by his mother or is someone else behind it?

Accepting Masarz's proposal, the gang is offered a new base to plan their heist. Zuzu enlists Tomek's help, and they inform their friends back in Bieszczady that they are undertaking a job and need to be left alone. Will this heist succeed, or will it end in their arrest? Will Maria’s deceit come to light?

Their youthful energy and zest for life challenge the status quo, inspiring some of the other residents to embrace a more adventurous approach to their twilight years.

The actors reprising their roles bring an undeniable charm and authenticity to their characters, truly doing justice to the story.
