Owen Wilson Do Know About the MCU, Iron Man & Aquaman Both

Owen Wilson recently impressed every Marvel fan with his performance as Mobius in the Loki series on Disney Plus. The actor has revealed a lot about his plans and life in the recent interview given to Esquire Magazine's September edition.

In the interview, while trying to correct some misinformation about his MCU knowledge, Owen Wilson somehow proved those to be not incorrect. After the premiere of Loki's first episode, some news websites revealed that Owen Wilson doesn't know anything about the MCU and he has to be convinced to play the role. While correcting this Wilson said, "That isn’t true. The director just called me and told me the idea, and I wanted to work on it. But somehow what seems to be in their press notes, maybe, is that I know zero about the MCU. I don’t know a ton about it, but I know...."

Wilson continued, "I know…actually, yeah, I probably don’t know that much about it. I kind of know about Iron Man. I’ve seen Aquaman. He’s swimming in jeans. No one can swim in jeans! That was my argument with the kids about Aquaman.”

The goal here was to convince the interviewer that he knows about the MCU, but he accidentally proved he knows but not enough. While he was correct about Iron Man, he was completely mistaken about Aquaman, who is a DC Universe/Comics character. (The interview doesn't seem to convey that he is just joking.)

While we all want to see Owen Wilson riding a Jet-ski in the next season of Loki, he is currently focused on some of his upcoming feature projects. His upcoming movie, The French Dispatch will arrive on October 22 and currently he preparing for Marry Me, in which he is starring opposite Jennifer Lopez. He also hinted about Wedding Crashers 2, but he neither confirmed nor denied appearing in the sequel. Wedding Crashers 2 is currently filming in Atlanta.

Wilson also talked about his personal life mentioning how his Brother Andrew supported him after a suicide attempt in 2007. He also confirmed, he is currently doing great. You can read the full interview here.
