Tad the Lost Explorer and the Emerald Tablet is an animated film that keeps you interested in the plot even after the film is over. I’m impressed with the characters of this story, and all are very good. Be it Tad himself or Ra Amon Ah, all have a quirky touch. When the 90-minute film starts, it begins with a bang.

Just within two minutes of the film, you can judge that it is going to be a good one and this doesn’t happen often. With the addition of little jokes here and there the writers have brought a smile on the faces of the audience.

Coming on the plot of the show is about a not-so-successful budding archaeologist Tad who dreams of becoming famous one day because of his discoveries. The man’s coworkers don’t give him his fair share of credit and he is often underestimated. While on a work trip to Mexico, he came across a sarcophagus. Many historical words and references have been used which some might not understand besides that, it is a pretty easy breezy project.

The three lead archaeologists don’t listen to what Tad has found and think that he is speaking rubbish. Upon finally finding a clue, all the archeologists in the animated movie go on a hunt to find the emerald tablet.

The tablet holds special powers and can corrupt the owner. Victoria and Sophia along with Jezz, Belzoni (both are Tad’s pets), and Mummy and Ra Amon Ah are the explorers here. With the tablet's powers, dark forces wake which is a curse upon the world as they’ll end it.

With the police force behind Tad and him going to different parts of the world like Paris and Nile, this film is an adventure ride that you shouldn’t miss. All the age groups can sit together with a bowl of popcorn and enjoy this historically fun ride.

From the dialog writing to sounds and animation, everything is top notch and you won’t be wasting even a single second to wander off in the world of your imagination.

Final Score – [8/10]
