Tom Holland became extremely popular during Infinity war for all the wrong reasons as in an interview he revealed a major spoiler for the movie. With the release of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' just around the corner, the actor was exceedingly cautious and tried to divulge nothing except the official line. But it appears that habit may have been broken when he shared a meme featuring Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man to his Instagram story.

The meme Holland posted includes an image of Tobey's Spider-Man from Raimi's first Spider-Man movie. The image is from the beginning of Spider-Man taken just before the famous ring fight scene between Peter Parker and the wrestler.

This meme may not have to do anything with Tobey Maguire as Holland was just promoting ticket sales of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ but fans are already celebrating and accepting it as a confirmation of Tobey Maguire in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ Some fans are also saying that Tom Holland has just spoiled another movie for them, but they are even more excited about it.

Both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are still rumored for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ But, many theatres across the world, including INOX in India, have put both the alleged actors on their posters marketing the film to the audience.

Tom Holland is currently doing ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ press tour in Paris teasing the film to be very different from the previous films. In an interview, he said that Peter Parker will face his toughest challenge as Spider-Man. The film has very emotional scenes as well as violence like we have seen never before.

As per Fandango, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has already broken the record of ticket pre-sales since the pandemic and is already the second-best of all time after Avengers: Endgame. Reportedly, the film has already earned $40 million in pre-sales in the first two days, and with many theaters yet to open up the bookings, the film may well be comfortably breaking many box-office records. ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is undoubtedly the most anticipated movie of the decade and as predicted by us (Midgard Times), it is likely to cross $2 billion on the box office overall.

Sony has already confirmed another “Spider-Man” trilogy in the MCU with Tom Holland after ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ According to a previously unconfirmed theory, Spider-Man will now lead the Avengers in the absence of Tony Stark's Iron Man, who sacrificed his life in the events of Avengers: Endgame.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is set after Spider-Man's identity is exposed as Peter Parker. Doctor Strange agrees to help Peter after he approaches him to cast a spell to cloak his identity. As the Strange casts the spell, the Multiverse collapses and we start seeing anomalies in the current reality.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ will release on December 16, 2021, worldwide except in the Philippines, where it has been postponed to release on January 8th, 2022. The film will be released one day early in the UK on December 15.
