After a long delay, the third season of Showtime's hit series is now finally gearing up to begin production. ‘Yellowjackets’ which was renewed for a third season back in December 2022 was expected to begin production for the same last summer but due to the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes, it got delayed.

Now as per the current schedule, ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 will begin filming on May 14, 2024, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and will take more than five months to officially wrap up on October 24, 2024. The filming duration is very usual for Yellowjackets as even the second season took the same amount of time to wrap. Executive producers Ashley Lyle, Jonathan Lisco, and Bart Nickerson have already hinted that the third season may not arrive before 2025, but if the production goes as planned, we might see Yellowjackets Season 3 released as early as December 2024 or January 2025. While the Yellowjackets are resting, the cabin is set on fire, causing them to flee and leaving them trapped without shelter.

In the present, the women agree to carry out Lottie's ritual, but they secretly plot to botch it and have Lottie committed. Walter poisons Kevyn at the property and collaborates with Jeff to frame him for a conspiracy, therefore terminating the inquiry into Adam Martin. Callie shoots Lottie in the shoulder to defend her mother, and Taissa and Van confess that they canceled the crisis team they had summoned for Lottie. When Lisa comes with a gun, Misty charges at her with a phenobarbital injection, but Natalie gets in the way and takes the shot, dying in Misty's arms.
