Disney Plus has released the first trailer for season 2 of Star Wars The Mandalorian. The season 2 episodes will start airing from October 30 with one episode each week on Disney Plus.

The trailer (watch above) shows The Mandalorian is on a galaxy-wide search for sorcerers named Jedi with Baby Yoda.

Earlier, while announcing the date, The Mandalorian's logo was given a cool new blue makeover.

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.

Disney Plus has also released a brand new poster for the season 2 which shows Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian:

“The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.

Earlier this year during ATX TV Festival, executive producer and writer Jon Favreau said “It was specifically doing a version of Star Wars that felt small and felt like it reflected the genres that influenced George Lucas originally: space adventure, westerns, samurai films, WWII adventure films — those are the genres that inspired the tropes.
